This ring is handmade in sterling silver. Twisting up the face of it are blooming datura flowers, also known as moonflowers. They’re beautiful but poisonous, and they only open at night, which adds to their eerie, mysterious vibe. A snake winds through the stems, adding movement and a little danger. And at the bottom, a skull sits tucked beneath it all, like a quiet reminder that beauty can have a dark side. The band itself mimicking the texture of snake scales, adding to the overall feel of the piece. Every part of this ring, apart from the ring band was carved by hand, a one-of-a-kind piece.
Each design is hand-drawn with intent and care. From there, it is brought to life, meticulously cut by hand with a jeweler’s saw from a sheet of Sterling silver. The pieces are then soldered together, before being carefully sanded, patinaed, and polished to a soft, matte finish. Every step in this process infuses the piece with magic, creating a unique treasure imbued with craftsmanship and the spirit of creation.
